Simplify the administration of SPECT and PET radiopharmaceuticals
and reduce your exposure!

In the new packaging solution from Trasis, the doses are delivered in sealed Cartridges, themselves being packed in Local Shields for injection. Depending whether the dose was produced in-house or supplied from a radiopharmacy, this Local Shield is inserted either in a lead pig for injection or in a shipping container.

To inject the dose, the technician simply snaps an Injection Tool on one end of the Local Shield and plugs a Luer Adaptor to the other end. The shielded dose is then ready for injection and can be connected to the injection set, as usual!

A dedicated Injection Set is available for the most efficient injection and rinsing, reducing the technician exposure.

When produced in house, the dose is packed into a Local Shield that is itself inserted into an additional lead pig for injection.

The Injection Tool and a Sample Luer Adapter convert the shielded Cartridge into a syringe ready for injection.
