• Automated syringe preparation  • Built-in paper work
• No loss of radiopharmaceutical  • PET & SPECT compatible

The hospital dispenser from Trasis allows the preparation on demand of single patient doses of radiopharmaceuticals, PET as well as SPECT. It addresses the needs of the hospitals for a simple and fast preparation of unit doses, allowing the optimal use of the available activity, reducing drastically the radiation exposure of the medical staff.

Cartridges replace syringes

The concept consists in a syringe-like unit dose Cartridge and a dedicated aseptic filling machine. Through the design of this specific container, single patient doses can now be prepared automatically, perfectly sealed and delivered in a form that reduces exposure and fits with usual administration procedures.

replaces a syringe.

How to use it

The system includes a shielded compartment for the multi-dose vial, an automated filling machine located in a second shielded enclosure, and a printer. The filling machine draws the adequate amount from the multi-dose vial, transfers it to a cartridge, adjusts the volume with saline, seals the cartridge, prints out the labels and then delivers the dose into a shielded container.

The dose is ready for injection and can be carried without extra shielding to the injection room.
Refer to Dose administration for more details.
