[18F]FCholine

Commercially available: ready to use consumables and optimized method

Application

FluoroCholine (also called FCholine, FCH or [18F]FCH) is a PET diagnostic radiotracer used to detect metastatic prostate cancer, recurrent brain tumor and hepatocellular carcinoma.

Configuration

The FCH synthetic process is performed on the AllinOne automated synthesizer using a dedicated cassette and a reagent kit. This process can operate on any AllinOne model.

Advantages

  • No volatiles generated during synthesis, unlike the older dibromomethane (DBM) method
  • Residual DMAE 50 times below the Eur. Ph. limit
  • Reproducible yield
  • Plug and play, no laboratory bench preparation work
  • Comprehensive GMP consumables

Performances

Cassette and reagents set up time < 1 min
Synthesis time 39 min
Typical production yield 25 ± 5% decay un-corrected
Radiochemical purity ≥ 97 %
