[¹¹C]Choline is a PET tracer that is metabolized as a building block of cellular phospholipid membranes.
This tracer provides contrast in areas of increased metabolism, and is used in the diagnosis of prostate, bladder, colorectal, esophageal, lung and brain cancer.
