DOTA-TATE

DOTA-TATE (oxodotreotide) acetate is a peptide containing the DOTA chelator covalently bound to Tyr³-octreotate, designed for high-affinity binding to somatostatin receptor
subtype 2 (SSTR2) overexpressed in neuroendocrine tumors (NET). This precursor is radiolabeled with ⁶⁴Cu, ⁶⁸Ga, ¹¹¹In for diagnostic PET/SPECT imaging or with ¹⁷⁷Lu, ⁹⁰Y for peptide receptor radionuclide therapy allowing to target and treat NET.
