TET (O-(2-tosyloxyethyl)-N-trityl-L-tyrosine tert-butyl ester)

TET (O-(2-tosyloxyethyl)-N-trityl-L-tyrosine tert-butyl ester) is a small-molecule precursor designed for the production of [18F]FET via a direct nucleophilic [18F]-fluorination.

This essential amino acid based tracer targets L-type amino acid transport (LAT1) upregulated in brain tumors, providing high tumor-to-brain contrast for glioma delineation, treatment response assessment, and distinguishing tumor recurrence from radiation necrosis.
